I have a NVR708N and a ICIP-B2812SL5 camera, Are the camera based analytics recorded on the NVR? If so, How is this setup?

Hi Roger,

That NVR may have the capability to record based on the analytics. If you see an IVS option in the schedule, the recorder will recognize the rules and trigger recording. If you do not see an IVS option in the Schedule, it cannot record based on those rules. Please feel free to call us: 866 997 9009, option 2, if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you.

Hi Jon, any chance of creating a guide for this or is calling a technician the only option? I'd like to know more about how to set this up too.

If you have the Smart ICRSS manual, there is a guide for setting it up through the software in that manual. You can find it under the Smart Config information in that manual, beginning on page 53. The manual is downloaded with the software on our software download page. You may also get a copy by contacting us via phone or our new chat feature on icrealtime.com.

We do not yet have a How-To note for setting up IVS rules, but we are constantly adding notes. If you like, you may email: tech(at)icrealtime.com to request it. Thank you.
